Serhiy Lovochkin stressed that this body would work out drafts of reforms and decisions. He noted that the opposition government wouldl be an alternative to the acting Cabinet.
“Today, when people in Donbas live amid a humanitarian disaster, the situation calls for restoring their normal life, industry and jobs. There is also the problem of Ukrainians living in Crimea. These are very important issues,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.
“This is a principled position - the oldest MP should read the oath. This is a constitutional provision. Today, the oldest MP is Yukhym L. Zviahilskiy, a member of the OPPOSITION BLOC ,” the politician noted.
“We will insist on passing the law on opposition, as in any civilized society ‘rules of the game’ should be defined within parliament. And the rights of the opposition should be enshrined in the law,” the politician said.
