“We insist that there should be a functional distribution of posts of committee chairmen. The opposition should have controlling functions, and the majority should have the rest. The majority plans to work based on the quota principle - that is, depending on the number of MPs in each parliamentary faction,” the politician said.
“I consider that the OPPOSITION BLOC result is much higher than the figures that are now quoted in exit polls, and I am convinced that after the vote tabulation we shall see a much more serious result,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.
“The OPPOSITION BLOC insists that the parliament should no longer use the quota principle in committee appointments. The opposition calls for a European approach and insists that they should take charge of those committees that will help monitor the government. It is our fundamental position,” Serhiy Lovochkin concluded.
According to the politician, the residents of Donbas are in urgent need of restoring their normal life, reviving enterprises, industry and creating jobs.
