The OPPOSITION BLOC insists on the need to establish a parliamentary committee to address the problems of Donbas and Crimea. Serhiy Lovochkin, an Opposition Bloc leader said this on the sidelines of the parliament following the meeting of the Preparatory Deputy Group on Thursday, November 20.

“Today, when people in Donbas live amid a humanitarian disaster, the situation calls for restoring their normal life, industry and jobs. There is also the problem of Ukrainians living in Crimea. These are very important issues, which must be appropriately addressed by the parliament,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.

According to him, the OPPOSITION BLOC proposed to establish a parliamentary committee to address the problems of Donbas and Crimea.

“Unfortunately, our proposal has not been supported. However, this is a principled position of our Bloc, this is what people expect,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.
