“We have high hopes for Merkel’s peace plan, which miraculously corresponds to what the opposition proposed - 11 steps out of the crisis in South-Eastern Ukraine,” the politician said.
“Peace is the top priority for Ukraine, the top priority of our political force and it should be the top priority of all Ukrainian policy makers. Therefore, we believe that even if our plan today did not get enough votes in the parliament, it is getting votes in the hearts of Ukrainians,” the politician said.
“Every meeting I have here begins with the issue of peace. And the most important thing is to have the government of Ukraine finally move from words to action and start taking practical steps to achieve this peace,” the politician said.
“The support of Ukraine by the international community is very important, but the assistance of $ 15 billion from international organizations is insufficient to rebuild eastern Ukraine,” the politician believes.
