When making calculations for the state budget-2020 draft bill, the government used understated figures of Ukraine’s population as provided by the Finance Ministry, based on data received from the State Statistics Service and Social Policy Ministry. OPPOSITION PLATROFM — FOR LIFE has drafted a bill that proposes amendments to the budget-2020, including increasing of social expenses by 200bln hryvnia, and costs for economic development and regions’ support by 60bln hryvnia. According to MP Serhiy Lovochkin, the additional funds will be derived from the revision of macroeconomic forecast and inefficient expenses.

OPPOSITION PLATFORM — FOR LIFE MP Serhiy Lovochkin has sent an inquiry to Ukraine’s Prime Minister Oleksii Honcharuk demanding to take immediate steps for comprehensive solving of the all-national poverty problem. These steps might as well include providing incentives for creation of new jobs, increasing the cost on living, etc.
