The decision of President Zelenskyi to support the so-called ‘Steinmeier formula’ gives ground for speed-up of the peace process in the Donbas. This was stated by OPPOSITION PLATFORM – FOR LIFE MP Serhiy Lovochkin on Twitter.

“We welcome the decision of President Zelenskyi on signing the ‘Steinmeier formula.’ It gives ground for optimism regarding faster implementation of the peace process in the Ukrainian Donbass,” the Twitter post reads.

As reported, Ukraine’s representative in the Minsk contact group Leonid Kuchma signed the ‘Steinmeier formula,’ which is a plan on implementation of the Minsk agreements, on Oct. 1. President Volodymyr Zelenskyi confirmed at a briefing on the same day that the ‘formula’ had been agreed upon.
