Lovochkin: Aggravating Demographic Crisis Leaves Ukraine with No Future

The demographic situation got worse in Ukraine in 2021 as a result of irrelevant demographic policy, meaning poor incentives for birthrate and support for families with children, and from continuing social and economic crisis. According to OPPOSITION PLATFORM – FOR LIFE MP Serhiy Lovochkin, lack of measures that could improve the situation in the country will leave Ukraine with no future as an established nation.

Lovochkin: Unemployment in Ukraine Hits Record High in 20 Years

As of the end of the first quarter 2021, unemployment among Ukrainians of working age, as calculated with International Labor Organization methodology, has reached 10.9 percent, the worst in the last two decades of quarterly statistics available. According to OPPOSITION PLATFORM – FOR LIFE MP Serhiy Lovochkin, the situation with employment and jobs was to some extent better even during two much deeper crises, in 2008-09 and 2014-15.

Lovochkin: Government Cuts Payments to Healthcare Providers Despite Pandemics

After the rate of COVID-19 cases went down and immunization started, the administration yet again lost its interest in healthcare. The situation in the sector is returning to pre-quarantine period when it was underfunded chronically, leading to its eventual failure. This was stated by OPPOSITION PLATFORM – FOR LIFE MP Serhiy Lovochkin on Healthcare Workers’ Day of Ukraine.
