Founder of the New Ukraine Institute for Strategic Studies Serhiy Lovochkin believes the Ukrainian nation must do everything to support the Crimean Tatar people in these difficult circumstances.

“I have many friends among Crimean Tatars, and I have always treated the Crimean Tatar people and their Majlis with great respect, and continue to do so. Great sons of this nation often stood shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine, with all pro-Ukrainian forces in the most difficult times for our country. And today, in these extremely difficult conditions in Crimea, Crimean Tatars have always been and remain true patriots of their land. I believe the Ukrainian nation must do everything to support the Crimean Tatar people in these difficult circumstances,” the politician stated.

He also stressed that he always advocated cooperation between public institutions and the Majlis.

“I would use this opportunity to refute the information spread by respected Refat Chubarov, who has obviously been misled. I have always advocated the establishment of effective cooperation between Ukraine’s public institutions and the Majlis,” the founder of the New Ukraine Institute said.

Serhiy Lovochkin also emphasized that he wishes prosperity to all peoples living in Ukraine.

“I also would like to say words of respect for all peoples living in Ukraine and wish them well-being, happiness and prosperity,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.
