The New Ukraine Institute for Strategic Studies was presented in Kyiv on Monday.

“We see our mission in the development of a new modernization platform for Ukraine and holding a dialogue on the future of the country with key business and pro-government circles in Ukraine and other partner countries, international organizations and institutions,” Institute director Andriy Yermolaiev said speaking at the presentation on Monday.

He noted that the initiator and sponsor of the Institute was Advisor to the President of Ukraine, former head of the Administration of President Serhiy Lovochkin.

According to him, the primary vectors of Institute activities will include global studies, foreign policy priorities, economy modernization, climate change, sustainable development, security sector reform, the constitutional process, a new cultural policy, information society, modern media technology and the sociology of modernity.

A. Yermolaiev said that the institute expects enhanced cooperation with the UN, UNESCO, and the EU in terms of holding a dialogue and making proposals on signing an agreement between Ukraine and the EU.
