The government is trying to deprive the opposition of its right to tell the truth and influence parliamentary processes. Serhiy Lovochkin, MP and a member of the OPPOSITION BLOC parliamentary faction said this in his statement.

“We are completely dissatisfied with how the government works with the opposition. The Speaker deprives the opposition of our right to speak up. The opposition has been banned from taking part in the Parliament leadership. This means that the government is trying to deprive the opposition of its right to tell the truth and influence parliamentary processes. But they will not be able to make it work,” said the member of parliament.

Moreover, according to Serhiy Lovochkin, the government continues to divide powers amongst themselves.

“Take the law on the National Security and Defense Council as an example... they are actually creating powers for one particular person. So, instead of fighting the crisis, the government continues to divide power,” Serhiy Lovochkin pointed out.
