Reforms in Ukraine should be the structural reorganization of the economy - support of the real sector, small and medium businesses and innovation. This opinion was voiced by Serhiy Lovochkin, Deputy Chair of the OPPOSITION BLOC faction.

“There has been no reform in the country for a year. We, the OPPOSITION BLOC, insist that reforms do not mean an increase of the tax burden, nor the growth of utility tariffs, but, above all, the restructuring of the economy,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.

According to him, if the economy is changing structurally, if the government supports the real sector in a difficult period for the country, promotes job creation, then this is something that can be called reforms, if not - it's just a social genocide.

He noted that the top priority should be given to supporting the real sector of economy, small and medium businesses, creating conditions to stimulate innovation and energy saving technologies. According to him, today the government is doing the opposite: extends the heating season, and the burden of payment for energy resources falls on the people.

“With a quadruple increase in gas prices, these payments become unaffordable. People will have to fork out 2000 hryvnias in utility bills for a two-room apartment. People are facing a choice - pay utility bills or buy food,” the MP said.
