The appointment of the US State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker indicates that America is strengthening its participation in the settlement of the conflict in Donbas. MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Serhiy Lovochkin wrote about this on his page on Twitter.

“The appointment of the special representative is an obvious increase of US participation in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine,” Serhiy Lovochkin wrote. He also stressed that Kurt Volker is a high-level specialist.

As reported, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson appointed former US Ambassador to NATO Kurt Volker as a special representative in Ukraine, which will coordinate the efforts of the State Department to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
