This was stated by MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Serhiy Liovochkin, answering a question of journalists in the Parliament on Friday, November 6.
“I cooperate with the investigation on the topic of the student Maidan, through which once I resigned, the anniversary of which will be on November 30. I cooperate with the investigation of Gongadze’s case. And I think that’s normal but not when they start persecuting people for political reasons. And it looks like the prosecution of many of my colleagues who were called on investigative actions during the meeting of the conciliation Council to which they have no relation and can’t be there, or when the former Minister of justice Elena Lukash is being arrested, who has lived in Kiev for two years and cooperated with the investigation,” the politician stressed.
According to Liovochkin, pursuing the “precursors”, the government tries to divert people’s attention from the problems that exist in Ukraine due to its clumsy work.
“All this done to balance the topic of Korban and change the agenda from the tariff Maidan which is located under the windows Yatsenyuk’s government, to the topic of “predecessors,” Serhiy Liovochkin told the journalists.
