This was stated by MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Serhiy Lovochkin in the Verkhovna Rada on Thursday, April 21.
“The OPPOSITION BLOC does not arrange the current agenda. We demand the abolition of the tax on pensions, or even increasing up to ten times the minimum wage threshold at which this tax applies. We insist on immediately considering the issues related to medical care, in particular, establishing a clear list of health services to assist hospitals to Ukrainians, to allocate appropriate funding,” the politician emphasized.
Another requirement of the OPPOSITION BLOC, according to Lovochkin, is adopting draft laws that would have stimulated creation of work places.
“First of all, we demand the reduction of the profit tax for enterprises from 18 to 15 percent. We also demand to maintain the current preferential rate and mechanism of taxation of small businesses. In a difficult time for the country, the Parliament needs to address social issues, medical issues and creation of work places as well as not to divide portfolios,” Lovochkin said.
According to him, the Parliament should return to the consideration of draft laws that would stimulate the development of industry, small business and creation of work places.
“Agenda, which is now available to deputies, has nothing in common with real life. The OPPOSITION BLOC does not believe in the effectiveness and a new coalition. It has no program; there are no 226 votes to support the government draft laws. In addition, we are not satisfied with the principles of coalition formation and government. There was no professional and competitive approach in the selection of Ministers. We demand the Parliament to return to vital agenda. If this does not happen, it is necessary to hold the elections to the Verkhovna Rada,” Serhiy Lovochkin concluded.
