The Shadow Cabinet will be working to solve important problems in our country and economy. Serhiy Lovochkin, a people’s deputy and a member of the parliamentary faction of the Opposition Bloc said this in the Weekly Details news program that aired on Inter TV Channel.

“The OPPOSITION BLOC plans to establish its Shadow Cabinet that will be working to solve important problems in our country and economy. We shall create a Shadow Cabinet and use this platform to offer the public and the state the right path of development and the right solutions to current problems,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.

The politician pointed out that the main focus of the Shadow Cabinet will be hryvnia stabilization, the Ukrainian power grid, industry recovery and creation of new jobs.

“The opposition does not need government posts, but rather mechanisms to keep the government in check to protect people. We did not ask for the so-called ‘money committees’, such as the committees on budget or tax policy, where corruption has always thrived,” the member of parliament said.

According to Lovochkin, the Shadow Cabinet plans to work regardless of [appointments] in parliamentary committees.

“We shall keep telling the people of Ukraine the truth about the government and their criminal actions even without the parliamentary committees,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.
