The OPPOSITION BLOC will insist on adopting the law on opposition. Serhiy Lovochkin, a member of parliament from the Opposition Bloc said this answering journalists’ questions on parliament sidelines on Thursday, November 27.

“The OPPOSITION BLOC will insist on adopting the law on opposition. Ukraine should become a modern and democratic European state. All European countries have legislative regulation of opposition activities,” the politician said.

He added that the opposition was the least protected force from abuse of power by authorities, and the new law should resolve this issue.

“We shall always stand up for the national interest. It is our principled position and our faction will work on it,” Serhiy Lovochkin summed up.
