The OPPOSITION BLOC calls to include to the parliamentary agenda the issue of peace and amending the state budget. MP Serhiy Lovochkin (OPPOSITION BLOC) said this in a statement.
“The Opposition Bloc insists that today’s agenda should include two issues. The first one is peace, the other one - a fair budget. The budget that has been presented and voted for, is not fair. It has hidden revenues. Ukrainians will not get these revenues,” Lovochkin said.
He stressed that amendments to the budget proposed by the OPPOSITION BLOC involve the transfer of additional UAH 10 billion for regional development, additional UAH 5.6 billion - for health care, about UAH 6 billion - for education, and additional 5 billion UAH to increase housing subsidies.
Besides, according to the MP, the OPPOSITION BLOC plans to earmark 62 billion hryvnias to increase wages and pensions, which by the end of the year will reach UAH 1956 and UAH 1526 respectively.
“Today we need jobs and high wages. This requires peace. This requires investment. If there is no peace, there will be no investment. The coalition does not want to deal with this. The coalition wants to distribute portfolios. If they fail to switch over to the agenda Ukraine needs, the parliament should be dissolved, elections should be held, and a new parliament should be elected,” the policy maker noted.
