The Opposition Bloc will develop and propose an alternative draft state budget – 2018 to the parliament. This was announced by MP from the Opposition Bloc Serhiy Lovochkin in the corridors of the Verkhovna Rada. He added that the government draft budget is antisocial, and the opposition will not vote for it.

“We have analyzed the budget. We do not support it because the budget contains an unrealistic level of inflation. Already today we see the dynamics, it is clear that it will be grater. This reduces social standards; in the long term this reduces social payments, pensions and salaries for people, so we will offer our alternative version of the budget. There will be a minimum of 5% of GDP for the development of infrastructure and industry, because we need to achieve the growth of the industry by 5-6% in the next year. Without this, there is no prospect for economic growth,” the MP emphasized.
