The events of the last days in parliament testify that coalition in parliament does not exist. This was stated by MP from the Opposition Bloc Serhiy Lovochkin in the corridors of the Verkhovna Rada.
“What is now happening in the parliament is another evidence that there is no majority. If there were a majority, then yesterday they would have voted for the session to continue until the adoption of judicial reform, and then pension reform. There were about 210-217 votes, no more. This shows that the coalition in the parliament does not exist, it is not able to vote even those laws that its own coalition government offers,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.
“So far, no signatures have been presented to the society – the quantitative and named composition of the current coalition. Therefore, the conclusion is this: the majority does not exist, the government cannot support it in the parliament, the reforms are not moving forward. All that is currently happening in the Rada – unfortunately, as they say the coalition only chases warm air from one part of the session hall to another,” the politician added.
