The power cannot draw up an agenda that people need. The coalition did not decide on a single candidate for the presidential elections. This was said by the deputy chairman of the Opposition Bloc faction Serhiy Lovochkin to journalists in the corridors of the parliament on Thursday, May 17.
“The coalition does not have an effective agenda. Everything that is happening now is already being done in the logic of the presidential elections. Therefore, the coalition offers nothing useful. The budget resolution, in which the subsistence minimum, which the power is going to provide next year, is $66, while in 2013 it was $147,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.
The politician also stressed that the Opposition Bloc did not support the agenda, which the authorities had set for the Verkhovna Rada. According to him, the party has its own proposals, which it insists.
“We have our agenda. First of all, these are draft laws that can bring peace to Ukraine – the implementation of the Minsk agreements. This is a package of social draft laws, the improvement of the life of IDPs, the raising of social standards, the efficient operation of the economy, changes in the budget that will raise the real sector and allocate funds to the local level,” Serhiy Lovochkin noted.
