Statement of the press service of MP Serhiy Lovochkin

The top officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are mired in corruption and continue political persecution of the opposition MP Serhiy Lovochkin and the associated TV channel “Inter”. For this, they use trumped-up criminal case, with nonsense on alleged financing by the channel of terrorism.

Officials of the “People’s Front” party repeatedly tried to deprive “Inter” of the broadcasting license, for the first time - in 2015 for the New Year’s concert.

Since 2016, the arson of the building of the TV channel has not been investigated, although the perpetrators are well known, as is known and that behind this arson are the Minister of Internal Affairs and his assistants.

Police officers permanently conduct illegal surveillance of Serhiy Lovochkin; his family, including minor children, is unlawfully prosecuted in the framework of trumped-up criminal cases at the request of the current leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The threats of physical elimination, coming from the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs sound to Serhiy Lovochkin. Therefore, recently we received an information about the planned attempt on the opposition politician with its participation.

For three years, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has spent public money on the persecution of people and the opponents of the top of the “People’s Front” party. A special group of investigators has been created in the central apparatus of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which works against the political opponents of the leaders of the “People’s Front”. According to one of the investigators, we learnt that recently in the building of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a meeting with them on the subject of the persecution of Serhiy Lovochkin was conducted by Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

The “People’s Front” party is a political bankrupt, while its bosses associate their zero ratings with the opposition from Serhiy Lovochkin and the associated TV channel “Inter”.

However, in fact the cause is another: the leadership of the “People’s Front” led the country to the loss of the Crimea and part of Donbas, the collapse of the economy, using mediocre, often criminal actions; it brought millions of Ukrainians to poverty. They have created total corruption, starting with the project “Wall”, “Ukrzaliznytsia”, the Ministry of Infrastructure, finishing backpacks for the army and illegally handing out thousands of gun barrels, and much more.

That is why the leaders of the “People’s Front” use their “quotas” in power for politically motivated persecutions of their opponents and related businesses. They want to crush and intimidate all who speak the truth about them.

We inform that Serhiy Lovochkin intends to achieve the destruction of the repressive machine created under the cover of the Ministry of Internal Affairs; he will continue to tell the truth about corruption in power and the corrupt leadership of the “People’s Front” party.
