The OPPOSITION BLOC party that was not included in the parliamentary coalition plans to establish the “Shadow Cabinet,” Serhiy Lovochkin, a people’s deputy and a member of the parliamentary faction of the Opposition Bloc said in a statement.

“We shall create the Shadow Cabinet, which will work out the right program of economic development,” Serhiy Liovochkin said in his interview with TASS. Lovochkin noted that for the first time in many years the opposition had not been allowed to take charge of a single one of the standing parliamentary committees and had not been given the post of any of the Deputy Speakers of the parliament.

According to Lovochkin, the OPPOSITION BLOC will focus on building a powerful political party that will take part in elections at all levels. A congress of opposition forces will be convened to establish such a party. One of the main issues on the OPPOSITION BLOC agenda now is the decision to lift the economic blockade of Donbas territories controlled by militants.
