Serhiy Lovochkin, deputy head of the OPPOSITION BLOC parliamentary faction, said that he is satisfied with the results of the elections held on April 30 in the united territorial communities of Ukraine, according to which the second place was taken by the "OPPOSITION BLOC" party.

"We know exactly that our party is the leader of sympathy among people and enjoys broad support... We also know that many honest people are being driven into "Our Land" and other "fake" parties by the illegal pressure of local administrations, through intimidation on the part of the authorities. The authorities often buy these satellites, using the poverty of people.The parliamentary and presidential elections will be completely different," the parliamentarian said in an interview with the Internet edition Timer.

In his opinion, the Ukrainian authorities are now really afraid of only the "OPPOSITION BLOC" party, fighting with its activists and opening "politically motivated cases" against them. "But we are a strong party with a lot of fighting experience, we are not intimidated, people believe us, we will continue to fight, defend the interests of our voters," Serhiy Lovochkin added.

Commenting on the fact that the parties of the ex-head of the Odessa regional state administration Mykhailo Saakashvili, "Batkivshchyna" and "Samopomich" are now falling under the blows of Kiev, the politician answered: "Look what yesterday, May 2, they did to prevent MPs Vadim Novinsky and Yuriy Boyko to go on the anniversary of the "Odessa Khatyn." But they were there and together with the residents of Odessa paid tribute to the memory of those who died on fire."

As you know, on April 30 in 9 city communities of six regions of Ukraine elections were held on party lists, at which 242 deputies of city councils were elected.

According to the information released by the Committee of Voters of Ukraine on May 2, "Our Land" won by party lists in elections - 42 party representatives became deputies (17.4% of the total number). In second place - the "OPPOSITION BLOC" (37 deputies, 15.3%). From the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko "Solidarity" and the party "Vidrodzhennya" - 25 deputies, 10.3%, "Radical party of Oleg Lyashko" is represented by 23 deputies (9.5%).

From the sixth to the ninth place, the report says, the "Cherkashchany" (21, 8.7%), the "Batkivschyna" (19, 7.9%), the "United Center" (14, 5.8%) and "UKROP" (11, 4.6%).

The tenth-eleventh place, according to CVU, is divided between "Samopomich" and "Stability" (5 deputies and 2% each party).

Places from the 12th to the 15th were occupied by the "People's Will"  (4, 1.7%), the Agrarian Party, "Justice" and "Unity" (3 deputies and 1.2%). In the last place - the party "People's Power" (2 deputies, 0.8%).
