The coalition does not support the government, and because of this vital laws are not adopted. Serhiy Lovochkin, a member of parliament from the OPPOSITION BLOC, said this answering journalists’ questions on the sidelines of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, November 10, according to the OPPOSITION BLOC website.

“Government interests are not supported by the whole coalition. They do not seem transparent either. We can therefore conclude that the coalition does not support the government. The coalition does not support the government, and because of this vital laws are not adopted,” Lovochkin stated.

Commenting on the consideration of the law on rent tax for gas by the parliament, the politician said that the OPPOSITION BLOC faction supported it with their votes.

“We gave almost 40 votes in favor of this law. It can reduce the burden on people, on their homes and apartments, utility tariffs will drop by at least 40%, or even two-fold. This law is needed now,” Lovochkin said.
