MP from the Opposition Bloc Serhiy Lovochkin demands from the government to develop and implement a comprehensive program of state support for domestic industry. He sent the corresponding deputy request to the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.

“I demand urgently to take measures aimed at development and realization of a complex of systemic and effective measures of state support for the development of domestic industry,” Serhiy Lovochkin said.

The MP stressed that the groups of industrial enterprises, which complain about the deterioration of the state of affairs in the industry and the lack of state support, appeal to him. He gave an example that according to the results of July 2017, industrial production fell by 1.3%, and compared with July 2016 - by 2.2%. Moreover, if we compare the current level with 2013, industrial production fell by 22%.

“The reasons for such a fall are the loss of CIS markets, the lack of an effective system of support for exporters, lack of activity in implementing the free trade zone with the EU,” Sergey Lyovochkin noted. He added that Ukrainian producers are now being pushed out of the markets of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

“Due to the ineffective industrial policy of power, hundreds of domestic enterprises are stopped or work part-time, interrupted by one-time orders, increase wage debts and forced workers to be dismissed,” the MP stated.
