The OPPOSITION BLOC is ready at any time to come to an extraordinary session to vote the laws aimed at the implementation of the Minsk agreements. This was stated by MP from the OPPOSITION BLOC Serhiy Lovochkin, commenting on the proposal to extend the work of Parliament.

"We MPs from the opposition do not believe in the potential of the coalition - which, by the way, does not exist - to continue the work of the session for the summer. Most likely, the session will end now, and the coalition will go on vacation," the parliamentarian said.

"For us, the issue of principle is peace. We have repeatedly stated this, as well as the readiness to vote for all laws that will implement the Minsk agreements. We are ready to vote for them at any time, including - an extraordinary session," the politician noted.

He stressed that the OPPOSITION BLOC can initiate an extraordinary session in August to consider these laws. "After the conclusion of fundamental agreements in the Normandy format, such legislative work may be needed in August. And we are ready to initiate an extraordinary session in order to make decisions to establish peace in the country," he said.

The politician is sure that the draft laws on Donbas should become a product of negotiations in the Normandy and Minsk formats.

"Such laws should not be a fantasy of the Ukrainian "party of war", but a product of negotiations in the Normandy and Minsk formats. After that these agreements must pass through voting in the Verkhovna Rada. We believe that the Ukrainian parliament should fundamentally hold these votes faster to bring people peace. Because without peace we will not be able to speak about facilitating people's lives in Ukraine," Serhiy Lovochkin concluded.
